Important Information
We understand that this can be stressful trying to find help. Many do not realize that baby “season” happens all at once. Rehabbers are inundated with so many calls in a very short period. We take in as many animals as we can support based on caging, volunteers, and financial resources.
Leave Message With Info
We are VERY busy tending to babies during the season. We’ll get to your info as soon as we can, the best way to get help is to text with the information we ask you to provide.
Volunteer / Unpaid
This is an all volunteer operation. No one is paid and the state does not fund nor reimburse wildlife rehabilitation. Please be patient, we’re all doing our best to help the animals and the public.
Space is Limited
We can accomodate a certain number of animals based on caging and resources. Unfortunately, requests often exceed our capacity. We’ll do what we can to help you however.
No Pinkies
We’re sorry but we do not take “pinkies”. (Refer to Step 2 in START HERE). In fact, most rehabbers do not. They are extremely premature (therefore very challenging), and sadly often don’t survive.
There’s a Lot YOU can do in the meantime
If you’ve already rescued the animals and are seeking a rehabilitator that can take them, there are critical steps you need to take in the meantime. Please review Step 5, as well as blog posts referenced, and other internet material.
